Jay Fermaglich, MEd

Director of Instructional Development

Jay is Director of Instructional Development at Jones International University. His primary responsibility is to manage the team that provides instructional design and project management support for JIU course development and revision. Jay has over 25 years of experience teaching, designing, developing, and managing education and training programs. Before joining JIU, he developed a Web-based continuing education program and produced live satellite television training broadcasts for drinking water professionals with the American Water Works Association. Previously, he managed a large-scale curriculum development project for training Navy carrier pilots and instructor pilots with McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing), and managed a media/microcomputer laboratory with the University of Texas College of Education.
